Mark Calabrese, Traditional Designs owner and master craftsman, built his first kitchen in 1979 and after working with master craftsmen in Sweden for several years, he returned to Vermont in 1987 and opened Traditional Design. Since 1989, the Skinner Barn in Waitsfield has been home to his millwork and custom cabinetry enterprise.

"My goals for every kitchen are functionality, durability, and high quality craftsmanship. I have a great love of cooking and understand the working aspects of a well-designed kitchen in all facets."
Traditional Design uses only the highest quality materials and employs traditional and modern joinery methods.
